Business Class

The Business Technologies Dept. faculty are highly trained and experienced educators who prepare students to further their education in business, whether they are working toward a Bachelor's degree, or preparing to enter the workforce with specific skills.

Business faculty members serve as faculty advisors to business students, helping them stay on track with their education and career plans. 


Associate of Applied Science Degree

This is a workforce-ready degree that will prepare students for entry level employment. Skills gained throughout the course of study will include general accounting tasks and proficiency in operating commercial software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and accounting. In addition, this program will aid students in the development of skills in customer service as well as business ethics and values that is needed for successful employment in the business world.

Associate of Arts Degree

This degree is designed to provide a student with the first two years of general education and business courses that are required to transfer on to a university in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in business.

Business Certificate Programs:

Related occupational certificates are offered in conjunction with the Service Occupations Department to provide the student with the skills necessary to obtain entrance level employment in the field of their education program. The following programs can run for one semester duration to twelve months depending on the student's interests and objective.
