Head Coach Landon Steele

Landon Steele has been selected as the new Women’s Head Basketball Coach for the 2019-2020 year.  Landon has a Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Hays State University.  Landon has head coaching experience in Texas, Kansas and Colorado as well as detailed knowledge of Region IX women’s basketball.  As a successful coach, Landon credits this to his ability to instill a culture of competiveness by emphasizing accountability, blue-collar work ethic, and commitment to the team concept.  He is excited to give young women a great opportunity to grow and develop as students and athletes here at Otero.

 

 

 

 

Assistant Coach Audra Lynn

Assistant Coach Audra Lynn

Audra Lynn, originally from Denver earned her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in sport journalism where she played for the Colorado Hoopsters, before going on to earn her master’s from The University of Denver in sport coaching. Lynn has 8 years experience coaching, most recently at Chatfield Senior High (5A) where she spent two years as the head coach, as well head coach at Premier Basketball Club, and Rocky Mountain Fever.

Her hobbies include hiking, cooking, lifting, and traveling. She loves the family feel of OJC, and this year hopes to make a difference in the lives of her athletes. Not only would Lynn like to make better players, but hopes every athlete leaves as an educated, opinionated, kind member of their community.
