OJC Fitness Center Announces Community Week

 

Otero Junior College announced access to the fitness center and a variety of fitness classes will be open to the public free of charge August 5-10 to give the community an opportunity to try the classes before enrolling.

The classes being offered during community week, as well as through the fall semester, will be as follows:

Aerobics: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 12-1 p.m.
Silver Sneakers: Tuesday and Thursday 8-9 a.m.
Step Aerobics/ Body Bar: Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Zumba: Tuesday and Thursday 6-7 p.m. & Saturday 8-9 a.m.

All classes will meet in the Darlene Blackford Aerobics Room in the McDivitt Center Gym. These fitness classes will continue weekly through the fall semester, beginning August 19.

“We are hosting this event for the community so that they have a chance to try out the fitness center and the wide variety of fitness classes we offer,” Jordan Wise, fitness center director said. “There is a class available for every age and fitness level, so we encourage everyone to come during our community week to see what works best for them!”
