OJC Dance Studio will Present the Music of Broadway

 

"The music of Broadway" will be presented Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th at 7 p.m. in OJC’s Ed Stafford Theatre. The doors will open at 6:15 p.m. General admission to the performance is $5 and must be paid at the door.

“If you are free on Friday or Saturday we sure hope you can come you come and Celebrate the music of Broadway with the OJC Dance Studio. Dancers from age 2-22 from around the area, including Lamar, will take the stage, for a sing-a-long worthy show, with amazing music. The dancers have put a lot of hard work and dedication into this show, and are ready to give the audience something great to watch.” Jennifer Jackson OJC dance director said.

The performance will feature music from classic and new Broadway hits from My Fair Lady and Sound of Music to Wicked and Hairspray. According to Jackson the night is going to be fun and energizing. “We can't wait to share what we have learned and what we have created this year.” Jackson stated
